“…leadership actually grows from the capacity to hold creative tension, the energy generated when people articulate a vision and tell the truth.” Peter Senge
They call me the “International Citizen” here at HCI.
I’ve lived and worked in several countries so I suppose it’s a justified moniker. Actually, when I come to think about it, working in some far-flung places has given me great experience.
I like to work with groups – small and large, it doesn’t matter. The majority of my work is in Integrated Change Management, Leadership Development, Organisational Design and Collaborative Strategy Building.
Sometimes my work is confined to a particular group in the organisation and other times it involves company-wide strategy development and implementation. But I’m also a coach; so one-to-one scenarios are just as comfortable for me.
I’ve got a Masters Degree in Innovation and Service Management (Change Leadership) from RMIT and I’m a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management as well as a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations (ISPSO) and of Group Relations Australia. I’m certified in several psychometric areas including MBTI Step II, FIRO-B, NLP, Organisational Role Analysis and Strengthscope™. Like my colleague Paul Sedgwick, I use holistic approaches such as Gestalt and socio-technical systems in my thinking and work with organisations.
