My work is all about leadership and talent development. I work with organisations and business leaders delivering some of the most inspirational and effective programs the country’s seen. For me, it’s about getting into the corporate psyche and unlocking some of the powerful elements within and draw on people’s natural leadership skills and strengths.
Culture is a concept that’s difficult to define, and I have worked with many organisations to help identify and manage their cultural flaws, and helped them maximise what they’re doing right. This is one of my specialist areas.
I spent time working in the insurance industry during periods of extreme structural and organisational change. As the project manager for some serious corporate shake-ups, I crossed several divides in the redesign of strategic business processes that transformed organisational performance. It was heady stuff, but I loved getting my teeth into a challenge. It just affirmed to me what makes the difference between organisational success or failure – it’s leadership talent.
